A Victorian mnemonic to help young children remember the order of Britain's Kings and Queens was bought right up to date. A wonderful idea for a book full of history, interesting facts and nonsense. My wife and I put the whole design/project together.

I once saw George Harland, an impressive Dickens impersonator, recite this story as part of his act. It was such a great, atmospheric story, and so obviously a picture book that I persuaded him to collaborate... the book was published in New York two years later!
